Quite Parisian

“Quite Parisian” from Lehar’s Merry Widow
Fort Lauderdale, 2009

Brett Colby, tenor
Richard Gordon, piano

I was fortunate to spend part of the winter of 2009 touring in a Florida production of The Merry Widow. The producer not allowed me to sing Njegus’ often-cut 3rd act aria, but gave me the freedom to rewrite the lyrics. It’s been an honor that several people have seen this video on YouTube and asked if they could use my lyrics in their own productions.
